2024 – MOE Summer Camping Trip

The 2024 Summer Camping trip will be at Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The tentative dates are:
Travel To – July 20/21, 2024
Hiking days – July 22- 27, 2024
Travel Home – July 28/29, 2024

Dates will be finalized in the next month or so.
There is a group camping area at Berry Hill Campground reserved with a maximum number of 25 people.
There are 6 rustic shelters in the same area as the group camping and they can be reserved through Parks Canada on-line registration beginning in mid-February.
There are also regular camping sites in the campground and motels and cabins in nearby Rocky Harbour.

We are looking into the possibility of extending the time spent in Newfoundland either as an extension to the camping trip or as suggested activities that individuals or groups may want to do on their own. This would be added at the end of the Gros Morne portion of the trip and change the return travel dates. If you have any suggestions or questions, please email Phil Hardy at phil-hardy@hotmail.com.
