SUMMARY:Cape Maringouin and Beyond
DESCRIPTION:Paul will be leading a hike on Sunday November 1st. Hiking to Cape Maringouin and beyond from Slack’s Cove (historically significant)\, then to the height of stylish decrepitude in the form of a tall crumbling old chimney on an ersatz island on the Cumberland Basin\, the use of which will be explained as we climb up to it. If you have not been to either of these 3 places do yourself a favour and come along to see these scenic and interesting locations.. The hikes are rated as easy to moderate\, perhaps 7 to 8 Kms total. Meet time is 10:00 at the parking lot across from the church in St.Anselme (same place as yesterday) or the town square in Dorchester at 10:30.
