SUMMARY:Dennis Beach - Learn to Hike
DESCRIPTION:Moncton Outdoor Enthusiasts is developing a learn to hike program to assist members and non-members to participate in shorter distance and less intensive hikes/walks to build confidence and enjoy the experience and safety of the group hiking.  Our first event of this program is the following outing on May 9th. \nEnjoy a walk on your new favourite beach. Dennis Beach has been a MOE favourite destination for years. Should be lots of water coming out of cliffs and the waterfall\, but very little on our feet. Low tide is 12:32PM. This is an excellent outing for new hikers or anyone desiring hike rated as easy with a distance of 7 km.   There is one slope to descend to the beach and ascend following the hike. \nMeet at any of the following locations; \nCentennial Park Dog Park\, 61 Rotary Lodge Lane\, Moncton\, NB E1E 4J7\, for 10:00AM departure\, Fox Field – 893 Hillsborough Rd\, Riverview\, NB for 10:15AM departure\, or at Old Bank Museum in Riverside – 5985 King St\, Riverside-Albert\, NB for 11:00AM departure.    Please see the meeting locations on our website for images of Centennial Dog Park and Fox field.  New hikers or anyone requiring additional information\, please contact Kevin at 506-871-4457. \nAdditional information for new participants. \nBring water\, lunch\, and comfortable hiking footwear\, and a wind shell.  Any changes related to weather will be posted in this section up until 8:00PM\, Friday\, May 8th.
