SUMMARY:FRIAR'S NOSE & AMPHITHEATER
DESCRIPTION:We enjoy this venture in the dead of winter…Lets enjoy it in the height of the fall foliage season.  The view from the summit of Friars Nose should be spectacular. Travel up the narrow Ice Wall creek to the end….Envision hiking the same trail in the winter. \nTerrain — 3 hills..2 challenging…1 Difficult ( Friars Nose )  Hike – 9 kms …4 hrs…total day trip  6 – 7 hrs \nBe sure you are prepared for the time\, distance\, pace and terrain….Lunch\, snacks and treats on Friars Nose \nBy 9:30 AM : RIDE SHARE & SIGN IN – DOG PARK P/L at Centennial park \nParking at Friars Nose/ Ampitheater is very limited.  I highly recommend RIDE SHARING. Share the current high fuel costs\, help the enviroment and above all\, get the know your fellow members better. \nSPECIAL NOTE ; We need a clear sunny day for this adventure…I will be keeping an eye on the weather..if the forecast doesn’t look favourable\, This hike will be switched to an alternate Wednesday . \nShould you have any questions or concerns about this hike\, please do not hesitate to contact me. \nBrian….506 377 8436 \n
