SUMMARY:Five Islands   Paul Gaudet
DESCRIPTION:Paul will be leading a hike on Saturday the 18th of October to Five Islands Provincial Park. Hike is about 14 kms. Forest alongside an estuary\, then on to beach and one of the great geological formations in the Maritimes\, then back up above beach along the cliff side for several Kms. to several outlooks then back to another forest trail back to the conveyances. Possible stop at a neat little pub in Springhill for refreshments on the way home. This is not a particularly long drive. 40 minutes to Amherst then to Springhill then over Lynn Mountain and “poof” we are in Five Islands. \nMeet at Irving in Dieppe across from Paul St.at 9:00 for car pooling or at Amherst Mall at 9:45.
