SUMMARY:Hike the Marsh near Sackville
DESCRIPTION:The hike will be a MODERATE 8 TO 10 kMS\, It will start in Westcock (Sackville area) and be a rural/urban walk for a short time then out on to the dykes and marsh overlooking quaint hay barns (one is particularly picturesque)\, with Fort Beausejour and the wind turbines in Amherst in the distance. We hike the dykes where we will no doubt see lots of bird life at this time of year and end up on a most secluded beach where we will dine while sitting on well positioned boulders. Weather is scheduled (by me and the weather network) to be sunny and 12 degrees with light to moderate breezes.  Meet time is 10:00 at the Irving on Champlain at Paul St. or at 10:30 at the McDonalds in Sackville (at the end of the ramp on the first exit).  Paul @ 588-3034.

SUMMARY:Glebe Road and Poley Mt.
DESCRIPTION:We park on Glebe Road\, off Parlee Brook Road and hike (in a rather circuitous way) up to the top of Poley Mountain to the lookout built on top of the mountain\, have lunch and return.  The possibility of returning to the Glebe Falls on the way back exists for those who missed it the last time. It is more or less on the way\, with but a short detour.   Hike is about 10 Kms\, rated moderate to strenuous. The meeting time is 9:30 at Centennial Park (dog park area) on St.George Blvd or head of the Parlee Brook Road at 10:30.  Call Phil 902-432-0050 or Paul @ 588-3034.
