DESCRIPTION:I will be leading the annual Hopewell Rocks and environs hike on Saturday the 1st Nov. It is a moderate hike that will include dykes\, forest\, beach\, a bit of bouldering and outlooks. 3 hours plus. The departure time at the dog park parking lot at Centennial Park is high noon. The other meeting place will be at the entrance to Hopewell Rocks next to the closed gate at the top of the hill at 12:45. The unorthodox meeting time is tide and weather related. I will not be at Centennial Park but will meet the carpoolers at the Rocks. DESCRIPTION:Cave hunting adventure! \nDiscover a cave in Albert County in the Albert Mines Area.  The hike will be led by Ken Stevens\, a close relative of one of our members\, who is familiar with the area. \nLost Brook is a stream that comes out of the hillside and flows above ground for a short distance and disappears underground again forming a cave. \nDistance/Terrain: \nApp. 6 kms.  Hike is on a dirt road for most of the way\, then on a trail that doesn’t get used much\, getting overgrown in places (app. 1 km). \n  \nMeet time: 10:00 am Centennial Park or 10:30 at trailhead near 561 Albert Mines Road.

DESCRIPTION:We will do a linear hike starting at the Sawmill Creek covered bridge where we will proceed along the TCT until we get to the road to Broadleaf where we will go in and up their lovely\, wooded trail to the “lodge on the mountain” where we will (hopefully) have lunch\, then return to the covered bridge. Hike rated a moderate 10 kms. Meet at Centennial Park (dog park area) at 10:00 or at Sawmill Creek covered bridge at 11:00. DESCRIPTION:On Saturday the 13th of December I will be leading a hike to the venerable Dennis and Waterside beaches. It is a go to place when the conditions after the rain and subsequent freeze make the hiking conditions sketchy on the forest trails. I know we do it a lot\, but it is outdoors\, with healthy salt air\, and a beautiful hike/walk. Meet time (tide related) is at Fox Field at 10:30 (I will not be there) or the crossroad in Riverside/Albert at the museum diagonally across from the Crooked Creek Convenience at 11:15. The second spot will be at the Esso Service station in Memramcook (liquor store) at 10:30. It would be considered moderate\, and the length is about 10K. Bring grippers. We will be hiking behind the catholic church (the one with the flying buttresses) in St. Joseph. The leaders will be (in no particular order) Gina\, Ted\, and Paul\, this in order to spread the blame if it does not work out.
