I contacted Anne from the kayak tour company that does tours from the cove\, and she tells me that the road in is quite alright right to the bailey bridge and that the road from Joggins has one or two sections with potholes\, she did it recently and says it is most doable for the most part\, with a few places where care is required. \nĀ  \nThe meet time will be at the Irving in Dieppe at 9:00 (I will not be at that one) then Amherst Mall at 9:45/9:55. The hike will be rated as strenuous for most\, moderate for others\, with some old dirt road walking to start (tides)\, then forest trail\, then beach\, then manicured trail with spectacular outlooks\, then beach walking back to the cove and our conveyances. The tide will not be on our side on this day\, so we ā€œmayā€ encounter a pinch point or two on our way out on the beach. Bring lunch\, boots\, and gaiters if you got em.
