DESCRIPTION:Hi all \nJust an update on Saturdays hike on the dunes\, or as Paul Gaudet calls it “The Death March”  \nThe weather is calling for light rain\, 5mm. Winds are a gentle breeze 14-30 KM. Please note we are in an open area on the dunes\, so conditions can change quickly\, be prepared. Terrain shifts from soft sand to firm\, bring snacks\, lunch\, hydration and raingear. \nNote meeting times below. \nThere will be two options\, 12 or 24K \, but in reality\, its a linear walk out and back\, so you can turn back at anytime. \nWhen you drive to the Dunes\, park on the left side of the road\, in the parking lot at the end of the entrance. \nCal \n506-875-3351 \nOption 1–12K  hike 6 k out on the dunes and return     12K total \nOption 2–24K  hike 12 K out to the lighthouse and return   24K  total \nMeet at Champlain Irving\, Dieppe\, Parking lot 9am \nSecondary parking Irving ECO Center\, Dunes 10am. \nNote: option 2 will be 5-6 hours\, depending on pace and conditions. \nThis is beach walking\, uneven and soft in places\, so make sure you have comfortable footwear.
