Dear members Do you want to get more involved in our hiking group? Here’s your chance! We have 3 openings on the 2022/2023 Board of Directors for the upcoming hiking season and don’t forget it’s our 40th anniversary. Openings include: Secretary, Membership Director, and Scheduling Director.
The primary role of Secretary is to record and keep records of minutes for scheduled Board of Directors meetings and Annual General Meetings. Access to a home computer with Microsoft Word, and e-mail client is a requirement for this role.
The Schedule Director is responsible for scheduling and overseeing all outdoor activities of the Club. Activities are planned through quarterly meetings, which is open to members, with events being posted to our website calendar.
The Membership Coordinator process new and renewals for memberships, keeping statistics using Excel worksheet, picking up mail, and depositing membership funds in our Credit Union bank account.
