PEI Bike Trip Times and Meeting Points

Rides are listed below, there was a change to Monday’s bike ride from the original schedule.

Friday Argyle loop: 11:30 am depart from Afton Community Centre, 1552 PE-19, New Dominion. 25km ride. Rocky Point, Skmaqn–Port-la-Joye–Fort Amherst National Historic Site, Blockhouse point lighthouse.

Saturday Charlottetown and Surrounding: 9:30am depart from point Holland College, Charlottetown. 40km-45km ride. Urban Bee Hive, Farmers market, Confederation Trail, Vesey Seeds, Beach Grove Memorial Forest, Victoria Park.

Sunday PEI National Park : 10:00am depart from the corner of Brackley Point Road and Portage Rd. Corner of Route 15 and Route 6. There is parking at the cemetery or alongside the road. 40km ride, out and back. Beautiful coastal views. Meet PEI Ruth for ice cream at Harry’s Dairy Bar around lunchtime.  Fin Folk Food restaurant is also an option for lunch, or bring a lunch.

Monday Bonshaw Hills Ecological Provincial Park: 10:30am depart from Bonshaw Hills Provincial park entrance. 18km ride along Ji’ ka’we’katik Main Trail and some side trails. We may lock up bikes and do a short walk.

What to bring?

Lunch and water. There might be options to buy lunch, check interactive google maps above.

Spare bike tube in case of a flat tire.

Bicycle lock.
