Moncton Outdoor Enthusiasts
Dear MOE Members,
I ( Kelly ) recently had the pleasure, on behalf of MOE, to visit Harrison Trimble High School and give a presentation on backpacking to the Outdoor Pursuits class.
The students are highly enthusiastic about hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, and many other outdoor activities. Their teacher, Jody Mann, shared that he would be extremely grateful for any donations of outdoor equipment. He is working hard to build up gear so that students who don’t have access to items like tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, snowshoes, hiking poles, and other essentials can still participate.
Jody also has an overnight camping trip planned for interested students this December. He dedicates a great deal of his personal time to outdoor activities with the class, since he only has one hour available during regular school periods.
If you are interested in donating any camping, hiking, or backpacking gear, please let me know — I’d be happy to arrange pickup. ( kellyachase67@gmail.com )
Thank you very much for your support!
Kelly
