I am going to lead an outing at sunrise to circumnavigate the Mary’s Point peninsula on Monday October 10th.. Everything is perfect for this outing, the low tide is at 7:15, sunrise is at 7:27 and the weather for Monday shows bright sunshine with no clouds.
If you have never done this before it really is quite spectacular with the colours at sunrise (reds) are all around us and of course the autumn foliage colour as well. The lantern room looks lit up even though the lighthouse has not been operational for years.
This hike of course involves getting up early, meet time would be at 6:45 sharp at Mary’s Point. If some wished to carpool they could meet at Petro-Can in Point Park at 6:00. Paul@ 588-3034
