Upcoming hikes

Saturday, January 6 – White Rock Recreation, Hillsborough. Join Brian for a historical hike through the White Rock area, formerly an extensive Gypsum mining site from the mid-1800s to the mid-1900s.  Travel some of the miner’s trails and see the reminiscence of their work.  Planned hike length of 8km with a further option of 2km for those who would like to go further.  Hike is rated as moderate. Meet at Fox Field (Baseball field) at 893 Hillsborough Road, Riverview, NB. for departure at 10:00AM or at the White Rock Recreational Park 297 Taylor Lane, Hillsborough, NB at 10:30AM.   Ice Grippers/Crampons are encouraged and highly recommended.  Dress warmly.  Contact Brian at 506-377-8486 for any additional details.

Sunday, January 7 – Scoudouc River Trail, Shediac. Hike the Scoudouc River Trail. 8-10km easy to moderate. Meet at the Irving station, 64 Champlain Street, Dieppe at 10:00AM or Shediac Canadian Tire at 10:30AM. Cleats/Gripper/Crampons recommended. Saturday, January 13 – Levi Road… Maybe. Stay tuned as we wait for the weather to decide where we go this day. Could this be our first shoeshoe outing. Stay tuned

Sunday, January 14 – Two Bridges Loop. Distance of 7k. Rated as Easy. Meet at Chocolate River Station, 391 Coverdale Rd, Riverview at 10:00AM. Please contact Marilyn 506-386-6579 for additional information.

Thursday Night City Social Walks – Every Thursday evening is an opportunity to enjoy a nice walk about town or trail. Meet time is 6:30PM at La Bikery, 120 Assomption Blvd, Moncton. Contact Julian at 506-830-6463 for additional information.
