Weekend MOE scheduled hikes

25th : Saturday: Split Rock and Troy Trail/ Coastal trails in Saint John
Join Gale for a scenic 11km coastal hike on the connecting trails of Split Rock and Troy’s Trail near Lorneville, NB. Challenge yourself with this moderate to strenuous trek, complete with steep ascents and descents and unapparelled views, in a designated Nature Preserve. Spoiler alert, there is a 4k road section at the end, which satisfies any  elevation quota we may not have met on the trail….oh, and that ONE last hill.

Meet in Centennial Park’s Dog Park parking lot 61 Rotary Lodge Lane, Moncton,  at 8:30AM or at the Split Rock Trailhead, 4179-4279 Black Beach Rd, Saint John, NB at 10:15AM.   New hikers or anyone requiring information, please contact Gale at 506-874-3177.

26th : Sunday: Hike the Amherst Bird Sanctuary
Hike the Amherst Bird Sanctuary. Easy, 8 km. Meet at the Irving Station, 64 Champlain St, Dieppe at 9:30 am or the Bird Sanctuary at 10:15 am.  Contact Ted at 506-852-0976.
