September 13 – Kayaking with Calvin
Yes, it will be Friday the 13th…. what could go wrong. In advance of our trek to Minister’s Island, in September, Calvin will be organizing and leading a kayak excursion in the St. Andrews areal. Kayaks are available through Eastern Outdoors, and Calvin has been corresponding with them in regards to availability. The excursion will most likely occur in the early afternoon (1:00PM) to allow people to drive to the area and the paddle will be approximately three hours. This will be inland sea kayaking, so there will be no issues with swells. Single and double kayaks are available. Doubles are more stable. However, in these conditions, there should be no issue. Camping is available in Saint Andrews through the Kiwanis campground. Please contact Calvin directly at (506) 875-3341 or via e-mail at calvin.roberts@claimspro.ca
